More significant early decisions guiding their paths
A couple of other things that helped shape and form the young ladies, was the decision by their parents to have several children, which had to have a significant impact on grounding them. Not too many brothers and sisters care whether their siblings are stars or not. They probably even go out of their way to knock them down a notch or two just to remind them. I'm sure that had a major effect on the young ladies.
Another important early decision was to have the girls enrolled in Campbell Hall Episcopal School in North Hollywood. Having to rub shoulders daily with other kids also had to help form their early lives, and make a difference in who they have turned out to be as they've grown up.
Watching them as they do business as young women, you can tell they've learned to interact with people, and much of the "I'm better than you" attitude doesn't permeate their persona. At least I don't think so. You've got to know what to look for as far as how they are marketing themselves as a brand to get past what may seem to be exclusiveness.
The fact that their fans continue to follow them, and new fans increasingly attach themselves to them, shows they resonate as real and authentic people in what they present themselves as.
Like mentioned in the last post, it's extremely important for young people to get great help when they're younger if they want to succeed in business and life. The Olsen twins were very fortunate, again, to have that while growing up. It's helped forge them into the successful young people they are today.
