
A bizarre lawsuit has been filed by an ex-con homosexual against two publishers of the Bible because it says that homosexuality is a sin.
Strange misfit Bradley LaShawn Fowler is asking for $60 million in damages from Zondervan and $10 million from Thomas Nelson Publishing in a Federal Court in Michigan.
According to this nut, God calling him a sinner as a homosexual has "made him an outcast from his family and contributed to physical discomfort and periods of 'demoralization, chaos and bewilderment.'" Poor baby.
His entire case is based upon the term homosexual being in the bible.
“These are opinions based on the publishers” he said. “And they are being embedded in the religious structure as a way of life.”
He cites different releases of the Bible passages in this way:
In 1970, I Corinthians 6:9 read as followed-
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulteres, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effiminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.
In 1982 ,the same scripture read like this-
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodimites.
In 2001 the same scripture reads like this-
Surely you know that the people who do wrong will not inherit God’s kingdom. Do not be fooled, those who sin sexually, worship idols, take part in adultery, those who are male prostitutes, or men who have sexual relations with other men, those who steal, are greedy, get drunk, lie about others, or rob thses people will not inherit God’s kingdom.
This kind of stuff is getting so wacko, that people like Fowler need to be institutionalized. The idea that the Bible, which all believers in Jesus adhere to, can be manipulated by someone it speaks against is ludicrous and evil.
To attempt to use the court system to make is say what someone feels comfortable with is one of the most outrageous things I've ever heard done in my lifetime.
What people like Fowler don't realize though, is they're hurting their cause far more than helping it. It only confirms the radical agenda underlying the homosexual movement. This will do more to unite those who oppose it than almost anything else they could have thought up.
