Almost immediately after an AP report, citing campaign insiders, announced that Hillary Clinton would be giving a concession speech tonight acknowledging Barack Obama had enough delegates to win the election, her campaign shot back that the report was untrue.
After the last two contests of the Democratic primary season today, it's expected that Obama will reach the required 2,118 delegates to win the nomination.
Even when Clinton finally concedes, it is asserted she won't officially close down her campaign, as she wants to keep it going in order to get her way on several things she wants, including a possible spot as vice president on the Obama ticket.
She also wants to keep pushing her socialist health care plan down Obama's throat, said the unnamed officials from her campaign.
