Another 33 charges against a public school teacher's aide were reported today, as Abbiejane Swogger has had charges added to her of having sex with underage boys, as well as stripping for them.
This all stems from a hotel raid by police looking for two teenage runaways. Upon entering the hotel room, the police found three teenagers, alcohol, and crack cocaine.
These new charges aren't connected to that raid, but the raid began the investigation which has now extended to these new charges.
The new charges include corruption of minors and indecent assault. Minor boys have come forward, with one saying he and Swogger had had a sexual relationship for about a month, with another boy saying she had performed an unnamed sexual act on him as well.
Former charges against Swogger were also for corruption minors and possession of cocaine.
This is just another episode in the extraordinary failure of the public school system to provide significant filters with its applicants.
Swogger remains jailed, being unable to post a $50,000 bond.
