A newspaper has just been introduced called "My Wall Street Journal," which pokes fun at the growing media empire of Rupert Murdoch.
Editor-in-chief of the project is Tony Hendra, who was editor of National Lampoon. Others involved in the satirical publication are Todd Hanson from The Onion and Comedy Central's Jeff Kreisler, who works on Indecision 2008, Terry Jones, and Andy Borowitz.
This is Hendra's second time to work on a parody of the Journal, as he did it during the 1982 economic downturn as well, under the name "Off the Wall Street Journal."
New York Press is the publisher, and it is now available for $3.95 a copy at the usual outlets; either online or offline. You can also get it at their website wsjparody.com.
