Are Democrats losing their credibility? I think so.
In a year when most people felt the Democrats taking over the White House was a slam dunk, the party continues to be bent on destroying itself, as a sex scandal by Hillary Clinton ally Eliot Spitzer, and the racial remarks made by Geraldine Ferraro, a Clinton staffer, that Obama was only ahead of Clinton because he was black, has also caused her to step down from involvement in the Clinton campaign.
Republicans are really not doing anything, just sitting on the sidelines unbelievingly looking at the gift the Democrats may be handing them.
If this gets any worse, or goes on any longer, the American people will vote John McCain, as they should. To see these types of sleazy politics and personal indiscretions being the headlines, rather than focusing in on the challenging issues America faces, makes the Democrats a very undesirable party to run the White House and the business of the American people.
As one of their own said recently, they might as well stop functioning as a party if they can't win the White House this year; and I agree with that assessment.
It's already getting tiring listening to the garbage coming out of the party, as the worn-out gender and racial non-issues keep rearing their ugly heads. Who cares? The Democrats will find out that the American people don't.
I'm starting to believe the Democrats don't deserve the White House this time around, and will vote accordingly. Their total absorbtion within themselves, rather than the tough times ahead, makes me leary in trusting them to take care of business.
They've brought this on themselves, and have only themselves to blame.
