Mississippi Politicians want to ban Serving Obese People at Restaurants

In a move that shows Mississippi legislators and politicians have way too much time on their hands, some have introduced a bill - No 282, which would illegalize restaurants licensed by the state from serving obese people.

Introducing the legislation are Democrat Bobby Shows, and Republicans John Read and W.T. Mayhall, who serve in the House of Representatives.

How would it work? The Department of Health in the state would define what obese was, in conjunction with the Council on Obesity.

There was no wording in the bill that would determine what the fines or penalties would be if there were infractions to the rules.

Let's see. People who are overweight that couldn't be served in restaurants anymore. Sounds like people would save a lot of restaurant taxes, with the state losing a lot more.

I couldn't imagine something as stupid as this passing, but could you imagine having to turn down all the people who's body mass index wasn't in line with the state law?

Surely our representatives can find something better to do with their time then this.

Gotta assume, based on the first line of the article, that the writer has had a few too many twinkies themself.

This is, again, another attempt to take control from the common American by depleting resources, money and general wealth by promoting junk food and cheese, while taking tax money to kill more of us and dumb us down.

We have had healthcare bills vetoed for children. We have homes being taken away by foreign bankers. We have forgotten how to unionize. I don't know why Reagan is admired today (well I know why)..he was a terrible president. He (and his Republican Party) started the disbanding of unions. He removed benefits. We have become a joke to the rest of the world.

I don't see anyone saying "Gee...lets take the tax break money that unhealthy and malignant corporations get (McDonalds, WalMart, etc) AND use that to build AFFORDABLE swimming pools and roller rinks and things that make exercise FUN for kids.

It's the "Poor and lower Middle Classes" who are generally OBESE!! Why??? Because junk food is cheap AND yes.lack of access or ignorance..but also not able to access Healthy Fresh foods in their low income neighborhoods.

There are some URBAN projects where they convert rooftops and empty lots to grow community fruits and vegetables to obtain real food where they do not have access to grocery stores which supply quality foods...which are becoming a priviledge for upper middle class neighborhoods. They are left with bodegas which carry mostly non-perishable foods.

But their answer is..take away your freedom and responsibility. That's how they move us to a Nanny Society. "We, the government know better"...yeah..because you've been raping and dumbing your population down.

Other issues we need to all fight off because it means the end of your freedoms, health and livelihood.

National ID Card
RFID chips in your products
RFID chips in your skin
Loss of right to bear arms
Loss of Speech ("Free speech zones" yeah..I can't speak on this street? what kind of garbage is that???)
Tort Reform (means a corporation gets a cap amount on what an individual can sue them for at which they can now determine whether it's profitable to poison your ground water by calculating how many potential people live in the area)
Stop buying things you DON"T NEED.
When buying as car..make sure the one question you ask "Does it get over 35MPG? My old car used to get 38mpg back in 1987.

Start recognizing other forms of this propaganda.

Fox and Friends, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter..(These people are NOT your friends..and when you wake up and watch them in a different mindset of them being your enemies..it all becomes quite clear and makes sense)

Reality TV (teaches your kids how NOT to unite and not to love..because if they cannot unite and love their fellow neighbor, they cannot fight the powers which are causing them to fight.)

ypu are so fat

fat ass
