What some developers have started doing is offer to buy the house of a buyer, if that buyer is willing to trade up by 20 percent over the cost of their existing home.
It's a great idea and a win/win situation. Developers can move homes their stuck with, and buyers can unload their home which they can't get a good price for because of declining prices and a tight credit market.
