The story surrounding the life and death of investment manager Seth Tobias keeps getting more spectacular as time goes on.
With the battle over the $25 million estate left by Tobias, stories and plots are surfacing in the media, with claims and counter claims by the participants.
Seth Tobias was found floating facedown in his pool by police when they arrived at the scene. There arrival was in response to a call from his wife. In a strange response, she wouldn't let police in without a warrant, even though she was the one that called them. According to police, Tobias also had bruises and cuts on his forehead, nose and back when they found him.
Tobias' brothers Samuel, Spence, Scott and Joshua, have made the accusation that his wife Filomena drugged him and then lured him into the pool to drown.
A former assistant to Tobias, with a police record for homosexual prostitution, says Tobias' wife confessed on tape that she got Tobias in in the water by promising him a dalliance with a male go-go dance named Tiger. No kidding!
Evidently he met "Tiger" at a decadent homosexual bar called Cupid in West Palm Beach, where hardcore homosexual pornagraphy is the flavor of the day, and which he and his wife frequented.
To add more fuel to swirling rumors, reports that Filomena had the pool drained and resurfaced only days after the death of Tobias.
In yet another strange twist to the story, the legal team representing Filomena, includes her ex-husband, who is a lawyer.
From Florida to New York City, the bizarre story has captivated the jet set and investment crowd.
Seth Tobias was the founder of the Circle T fund, where he grew it from an initial $4 million into a $300 million brokerage business and hedge fund. Tobias was also featured on CNBC a number of times.
When Tobias died in September, it was originally thought he died of a heart attack. At this time there is no murder investigation, but police are awaiting toxicology results before making a decision on how to proceed.
This all reminds me of a girl named Bambi I met when I was younger ... never mind.
