Remember the story about the lady(?) that wasn't going to be allowed to fly on Southwest Airlines (LUV)? Her strategy has finally paid off, as she landed a Playboy gig, probably what was planned all along.
You knew Ebbert was going to end up in some girly magazine, it was only a matter of time. The only thing that surprised me is that anyone remembers who she is, as her purpose in doing what she did was transparent from the beginning, and not really that impressive to most people.
Even so, it does show you what getting a little publicity can do for someone. I don't like that she did it at the expense of other people and a company to perform her charade though.
I think that will hurt her over the long haul, as there's somewhat of negative feeling toward her when she's mentioned.
The attempt to create consumer outrage by her performance, I think may have backfired some, as she wasn't authentic in what she did, and scripted the whole thing to bring her to where she is now.
She'll get her short-term celebrity and make some quick money, but I don't see her doing anything long-term. After all, you can only take this type of performance so far when it's all made up. She's lost any credibility she may have originally had.
Online photos can be seen here if you want to bother looking.
