A recent survey by Ipsos says that business executives consume quality business information in a huge way.
The study, which was conducted from February through July 2007, received 2,390 responses from companies with, for the most part, over 250 workers and the majority operating in the U.S.
Executives responding were from mid-management all the way to the top of the company.
Results of the survey revealed that 90 percent had read the latest issue of print media, while 70 percent had watched a network TV channel. Another 60 percent said they had watched cable television the day before.
Other findings of the study:
* Just over half went online in the previous day.
* Seven in ten have received a daily email alert or newsletter in the last month.
* Nearly half have streamed or watched a broadband video from computer in the last month.
* A third have read a blog in the last month, but only 5% have actually contributed.
* Nearly a quarter have downloaded a podcast in the last month.
It reinforces the reality of the huge demand for quality business information by management professionals.
