After a fairly quiet time after her ouster from Hewlett-Packard (HP), Carly Fiorina is back in the news as she's been enlisted by the upcoming Fox Business Network (NWS-A) to be a contributor to the new business channel. The channel is scheduled to begin next week.
Other than saying she'll be a contributor, there were no other details on the extent of her contribution or how often she'd be featured.
Fiorina did say in a written statement, "I am pleased to have the opportunity to continue to speak out on issues of vital concern to our economy and our nation."
Concerning the addition of Fiorina as a contributor, Fox News' executive vice president Kevin Magee said, "We are proud to have her join FBN as a contributor. Carly Fiorina is one of the foremost business leaders of our time."
It'll be interesting to see which Carly shows up for the Fox Business Network, as a lot of readers of her memoir "Tough Choices," were disappointed in what they viewed as a lack of candor and her being unwilling to admit mistakes in the book.
Still, if Fox can tap into her strengths, and she's willing to be open with her comments, she could be a strong addition to the team.
