
Donald Trump is about to form a new partnership with Jerry Powers, Chairman of Ocean Drive Magazine, to start his luxury magazine up again under the last name he used: Trump Magazine.
The magazine has gone through a number of names, as originally it was called Trump Style, which was offered in the hotels owned by Trump; then it was changed to Trump World, and finally to Trump Magazine.
Evidently on September 25, the two will announce the new partnership at Trump Tower in a press conference. The quarterly will be relaunced sometime toward the end of November, and will primarily center on home design and fashion.
An unnamed former executive alleges the reason these luxury magazines have been failing for Trump, is his image as a "nouveau riche." He also says concerning Trump, that advertisers in the luxury market "avoid him like the plague."
While this is obviously a disgruntled former employee, nonetheless Trump hasn't been able to penetrate the desirable luxury market, which has been growing for decades.
