The wakeupwalmart.com group is showing it's moving into panic mode as it is trying to spread their continuous lie to Americans that somehow Wal-Mart is "not American anymore."
I wonder if they're talking about the other union infiltrated industries in the U.S. like the airline and automotive, which are being run into the ground by unions and their coherts who think the world is the same way it was 40 years ago.
What they're whining about is the fact that we're in a global economy; something they think they can make go away and shows all far behind the times they are.
The truth is that companies like Wal-Mart and non-unionized automotive companies are showing that they are run much better and more profitable than the neanderthal way of doing things that the unions represent.
What union-backed groups like wakeupwalmart do is to pretend to speak for the people, which they don't; that's what makes them even display more hostility and anger as they continue their attack on the low and middle class people of the country, which benefit the most from the great low prices that Wal-Mart offers.
Here's what the types of things they say people feel about Wal-Mart: "People like low prices, but they don't like the values" they are seeing at Wal-Mart, said Chris Kofinis, a spokesman for the union-backed group.
With all the people I talk to, I never here comments like that. The values of Wal-Mart are related to helping families with they serve by making things affordable, which lower class and middle class people would otherwise find difficult to afford.
What would happen if you got unions into Wal-Mart in America? Prices would skyrocket like they do at any industry they get involved in.
The truth is the elites, which groups like this represent, are angry that regular Americans vote with their dollars for what Wal-Mart represents.
They're basically telling people representing the elites like WakeUpWalMart.com to go to sleep. That's a good idea. Go to sleep WakeUpWalMart, the American people have voted and you've been rejected.
This goofy group is going to start up a $1 million advertising campaign to try to make it look like Wal-Mart is sending jobs overseas, because they're buying goods from China which helps the poor and middle class in our country. They're just completely politicizing the free market system that's starting to take root across the world.
As Wal-Mart spokesman David Tovar said, "...today we're a global company and it is necessary to source globally to ensure that we meet the needs and wants of our customers."
This is the new reality that's been around for any company competing in the global market today. To say that Wal-Mart is different because they're simply larger is to completely dismiss the truth of what's happening in the world today.
What this does is show how feeble and irrelevant unions have become as people continue to realize they are something from the last millenium, and they continue to think that way.
