"Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway."
I really like this quote. One thing you may or may not know is that there are even strategies in place by people and competitors that try to get you to see that you shouldn't be flying, even though you are.
Why would they want you to look at that? If you focus on what you shouldn't be able to do, even when you're in reality doing it, it will take your focus and put it on the wrong thing.
Bumble bees don't care why they can fly, it's only important that they do the work that flying allows them to do.
People look at all sorts of things concerning why a company can't be built or a vision flourish, because they in reality are trying to talk themselves out of going through with what's before them.
Giving a reason why something won't work before it's even attempted, is to believe you understand every variable that is out there, even though nothing is put into motion to see how it will work. Even some of greatest minds can't come up with all the solutions before going ahead.
Look at the tragedies that occasionally comes about in space travel. All you can do is take into account all that you're able to and then go ahead with the mission. To never go on a mission because you believe that you could possibly have forgotten something, would be to never go on a mission.
We need to fly based upon the best information we have on hand. To look at ourselves and our situation and think that it's impossible to accomplish with where we're at, will result in it being impossible because you believe it is.
Another thing, when we're flying, don't let anybody else tell you that you shouldn't be able to. Just keep on flying anyway.
