You Never Know Where Things Will Lead
Concerning the upcoming Virgin Galactic venture, there's some interesting things concerning its potential that we can look at.
For the venture itself, Branson said that "If we can make space fun, the rest will follow." He's referring to the potential that will follow if he can even get half of those he believes will fly the new spaceships.
This is truly an adventure in all aspects of the initiative. Once the concept is put into motion and raved and talked about, the follow-up in creativity from those that are motivated by its possibilities are immeasurable.
Who knows what types of services could be offered and created to enhance the experience of customers. There are already some in wheelchairs that want the opportunity to know what it would feel like to float freely in the short time there will be weightlessness.
It's one of those things that simply can't be known at this time. Who knows if there will be experiments run, or new space agencies created from the private sector that can bring things further and faster than any government could.
There could also be special scientific expeditions to try things on a quick basis that never could be included in the current space programs out there. In other words, this are the types of things that will stir the imaginations of people and offer new visions and possibilities to people that never existed before.
It's just one of those fun things to think about when we go about our businesses and responsibilities; you simply never know where the road will eventually lead to.
