Whether it's Warren Buffett's outlook on investing, managing a company or economic insight, for those in the know, his annual report has become required reading for anyone wanting to gain insight into the Oracle of Omaha.
Members of huge companies and their leaders read it as they would any other publication, but with much more anticipation and respect.
Quotes from his reports are all over books, magazine, the Internet and any other type of media that gets hold of his material.
The good news is that Buffett is about to release this years' report on Thursday of this week and so those that can't wait to get their hands on it won't need to wait much longer.
"He's a deep thinker, and I think people are paying more and more attention to him," said Andy Kilpatrick, stockbroker-author of "Of Permanent Value, the Story of Warren Buffett." "I think the annual report has as much influence as ever."
I don't doubt that at all.
