In numerous studies and surveys it is said that in 75 percent of businesses, the climate created within the business is what determined whether profits were high or low.
The key to that statistic and success had to do with the quality of managers retained by the business. The quality of managers was directly connected to creating a workplace environment that people boast and feel good about what they do.
Daniel Goleman, in his book, “Primal Leadership” agrees with this saying, “The climate created by the CEO among their direct reports predicted the business performance of the entire organization. In 75% of the cases, climate alone sorted companies into high versus low profits and growth.”
Within the parameters of the business climate created by the leadership, flexibility is becoming the major determining factor in the business environment that employees treasure.
When companies have added aggressive flexibility to their work forces, they have found that employees will stay twice as long-and retain a much larger percentage of their customers than before they implemented the program.
This is definitely the greatest thing a company can add to its employees and its bottom line.
