One thing that the best managers know is vital to their teams success and encouragement, is to clear every obstacle out of their way so they can thrive and attain their full greatness for the company.
Once an employee is hired and trained, this is probably the greatest insight and practice a manager can grasp. There is nothing that can kill the enthusiasm of an employee than all the obstacles laid in the way to success.
Make it one of your most important priorities to be on the lookout for anything that will interfere with their journey. They have been trained and are ready, make sure that they are able to run unimpeded in the race. They will see your efforts on their behalf and reward you many times over.
Nothing can deflate a person more than barriers put in front of them by the company and those who don't understand what's going on. Fight to remove them on their behalf, not only ideas or dumb policies, but in some cases it will have to be people interfering that aren't familiar with what's going on and they throw cogs in the wheel and discourage those you're clearing a path for.
Don't let these things happen! Don't let them just sit there and hope they go away while frustration and discouragement builds up in your workers. Hit it head-on and show them your with them. You'll find if you do, they'll be right behind you in it.
