All things tht are part of a businesses product or services offered have begun in an invisible place. Even if the product is copied by a competitor, it still has its origins in the thoughts of a human being. Those thought at the beginning are invisible.
They can originate it the mind of an individual or through interaction with other people that begins to create something that is bigger than just one person.
Not only that, but once the product or service is thought up, then the processes involved it with begin to materialize as well. Before you know it their is this entire invisible product or service being processes through every possible link in the companies chain.
o me this is the most exciting part of management or business: the creating of something from nothing! This is why a manager must do everything they can to provide the environment where invisible things can be imagined.
Do your employees daydream invisible things while they do their existing job? Do you encourage it? This isn't talking about being irresponsible, but identifying all sorts of way that products or services, and all that is involved with that process, can be improved.
Employees can than go about taking care of business while using their imagination to probe the various aspects of the process to make great and creative input to bring things to another level of customer satisfaction and market leadership.
